Royals shut out by Arlington, 30-0, in BVC action ...Middle East

ARLINGTON — Elmwood lost to Arlington, 30-0, in a Blanchard Valley Conference football game Friday. Ryken Zeigler led the Royals’ rushing attack with 40 yards on two carries, Brennan Hiser had 15 yards on five carries, Andrew Traxler had 10 yards on five carries, and Mitchell Oliver had nine yards on two carries. Elmwood quarterback Pierson Parsons completed three passes for 37 yards but threw three interceptions and Micah Oliver also threw an interception. Brady Mareches had a catch for 11 yards, Gavin Solarik had two catches for 10 yards, and Micah Oliver had a catch for seven yards. The Royals fall to 1-3 overall and 1-1 in the BVC while Arlington is 2-2 and 1-1.
