PERHAM – There was an array of highs and lows on Tuesday, Aug. 29 for the Perham-New York Mills girls tennis team as they took on Long Prairie and Thief River Falls in a triangular at home. Perham-New York Mills started the day off with a 7-0 sweep of Long Prairie where all seven matches went two sets. It was the Yellowjackets’ second sweep of the season. Perham-New York Mills then came back and lost 4-3 in a close match to Thief River Falls where three matchups went to third-set tiebreakers.
