The political leadership in Egypt is keen on integrating expats in huge national projects at home, a senior official at the Foreign Ministry said. Ismail Khairat, assistant foreign minister for consular affairs, said President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi is personally following up the file of Egyptians abroad. Khairat was speaking to MENA Monday on the sidelines of the fourth “Egyptians Abroad” conference that is held under the auspices of Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouly.
