CHP: Three people killed in crash near Ukiah early Tuesday ...Middle East

Three people were killed in a crash on Highway 101 just outside Ukiah early Tuesday, the California Highway patrol reported. According to the CHP, a man was driving a 2001 Toyota Echo sedan northbound on Hwy 101 around 6:10 a.m. April 4 when “for unknown reasons, (he) allowed the vehicle” to leave the roadway just south of Pomo Lane, where it collided with a tree and caught fire, soon becoming “engulfed in flames.” The male driver and two passengers, identified only as one male and one female, all sustained fatal injuries and were declared deceased at the scene by emergency responders.
