Beirut, SANA- The member of the Syrian judo team, athlete Hassan Bayan, has won the gold medal for the under-73 kg at the Asian Judo Open Championship, currently held in Lebanon’s capital Beirut with the participation of 16 countries. In the young women’s category, Layla Canaan achieved the third place winning a bronze medal in the U-48 kg category. Earlier, athlete Suleiman al-Rifai, won a bronze medal in the U-60 kg competition.
