2022 UDJ Drive needs your help ...Middle East

To our community: We have all experienced the significant increase in food cost.  As we kick off the 36th Annual Ukiah Daily Journal Food Bank Drive, it is important to recognize the contributors to the Food Bank that help us continue to provide food to our neighbors throughout the year. Six days a week the food bank truck picks up food donations from Costco, Raleys, Starbucks, Bimbo Bread, Lucky’s and Big Lots. Weekly the Food Bank receives deliveries of predominantly fresh fruit and vegetables from Redwood Empire Food Bank. These weekly donations, coupled with the food received from the federal commodities program enable the food bank to distribute over 40,000 pounds of food a month.  The
