Amman, SANA-Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has reiterated the need to preserve Syria’s territorial integrity and to resolve the crisis in it politically. Lavrov’s remarks came during a press conference with his Jordanian counterpart Ayman Safadi in Amman today. “We discussed regional and international issues, paid special attention to the situation in Syria, and stressed the need to preserve its territorial integrity, respect its sovereignty, and the right of its people to decide their future away from any external interference,” Lavrov said.
