To the Editor: I find it interesting that when attending a big music venue in Napa, I observed some very strict safety protocols. The security is clear backpacks, metal detectors, security personnel at the entrances and exits. And military personnel with rifles, in camouflage, that are making rounds, to show a presence of protection. It felt safe that way. Yet…when we talk about doing this in schools, where horrific mass murder of teachers and children are continuing to happen, some parents and teachers get upset and fight the security measures. If one or two children dies from a pistol…that’s acceptable?  But only mass weapons are to be banned, because it kills many? Seriously. One teacher
