Modi govt has beefed up agencies, anti-terror laws, says Amit Shah ...Middle East

Union home minister Amit Shah on Saturday said the Modi government has strengthened probe agencies, including the NIA, and anti-terror laws, in line with its policy of zero tolerance towards terrorism. NIA will have branches in every state by May 2024 and the government has taken several steps in the past three years to make it an almost federal crime investigation agency, Shah said at the inauguration of an NIA office in Atal Nagar, Nava Raipur, on Saturday.
