In an emergency response to the flooding disaster in Pakistan, Qatar Red Crescent Society (QRCS) has activated its Disaster Information Management Centre (DIMC) to stay updated on the humanitarian situation and gather real-time information, in co-ordination with Pakistan Red Crescent Society. QRCS allocated $100,000 (QR365,000) from its Disaster Response Fund to provide relief for the victims of floods, mitigate the impact of the disaster on them, and meet their basic needs.
