Sanjay Raut sent to ED custody till August 4: Key points ...Middle East

A special court in Mumbai on Monday sent Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut to Enforcement Directorate's custody till August 4 in a money laundering case linked to alleged irregularities in the redevelopment of a Mumbai 'chawl'. Raut was arrested after over six hours of questioning at the ED's zonal office in south Mumbai's Ballard Estate. An FIR against Raut was filed after a female witness in the case filed a police complaint against him.
