A former Mendocino County resident was arrested this month in connection with the kidnapping of an 18-year-old Nevada woman recently found dead, the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office reported. Troy Driver, formerly of Mendocino County, was arrested March 25, on suspicion of kidnapping related to the disappearance of Naomi Irion, who was last seen in the parking lot of a Walmart in Fernley, Nevada, on March 12. On March 30, the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office and the Churchill County Sheriff’s Office released a joint press release announcing that the body of Irion had been found.
