ضمن الزخم الدبلوماسي الذي تشهده الرياض في سياق السعي لإيجاد حل للأزمة اليمنية، شدد سفراء الدول الخمس لدى اليمن أمس (الجمعة) على أهمية التعامل مع جهود المبعوث الأممي هانس غروندبرغ بشكل مباشر، ودون شروط مسبقة، بحسب ما جاء في بيان لسفارة الولايات المتحدة لدى اليمن. جاء ذلك غداة بدء المبعوث أول لقاءاته مع الشرعية اليمنية منذ تعيينه، حيث من المقرر أن يجري لقاءات أخرى في الرياض وغيرها من العواصم وصولاً إلى صنعاء لبلورة خطة أممية جديدة تهدف إلى طي صفحة الصراع المحتدم بسبب الانقلاب الحوثي.
