WASHINGTON: Police in the US capital of Washington, DC said Friday that three people were killed in a shooting incident that occurred earlier in the evening, with another three injured. DC Metropolitan Police Department said the shooting erupted in 600 block of Longfellow Street, NW around 7:30pm local time (0230 GTM Sunday). A total of six people were shot and rushed to local hospitals, with three pronounced dead. Three others were being treated for non-life threatening injuries, according to Xinhua News Agency.
