A large oak tree fell into a Talmage woman’s house after an earthquake that struck late Thursday night, the Ukiah Valley Fire Authority reported. According to the United States Geological Survey, a quake measuring 3.8 in magnitude struck around 10:44 p.m. Sept. 2 and was centered about 2.5 miles from Talmage, which is a few miles southeast of Ukiah.
