Traffic accident cases decline ...Qatar

A total of 506 traffic accident cases were recorded in July 2021, marking a monthly as well as annual decrease of 7.7%, according to the 91st issue of the Qatar Monthly Statistics bulletin, published by the Planning and Statistics Authority (PSA) for the month of July. In comparison, there were 548 cases in both June 2021 and July 2020, the bulletin showed. Minor injuries accounted for the vast majority of traffic accident cases during July 2021, at 89%, followed by severe injuries at 8%. Sixteen deaths were recorded, equivalent to 3% of the total traffic accident cases.
