A man in Kuwait has reportedly been suspended from duties at a mosque after being caught wearing shorts while reciting the call to prayer. A video circulating on social media over the weekend shows the muezzin wearing a short-sleeved shirt and knee-length grey shorts at the Abdullah Bin Jaafar Mosque in Al-Rehab, south of the capital Kuwait City. His choice of attire sparked complaints, Kuwaiti news agencies reported, with authorities suspending him from his duties.
