سارة المغربية عمرها 34 سنة تتحدر من مدينة تطوان المطلة على سواحل البحر المتوسط. تزوجت في 2008 من شاب مغربي كان يعمل محامياً، أنجبت منه ولدين، لكنها اكتشفت لاحقاً أن زوجها من أنصار «القاعدة»، حيث أدخلها «عالمه السري»، حسب قولها. وتضيف: «مع بداية الخريف العربي وقمع النظام السوري المتظاهرين تحول من (القاعدة) إلى (داعش)». قبل سفرهما إلى سوريا، لاحظت أن زوجها تغير كثيراً بالجلوس ساعات طويلة أمام الكومبيوتر، ويتصفح شبكة الإنترنت، ويدخل بحسابات نسائية. وفي بداية 2015، سافرا إلى تركيا جواً، ودخلا عبر بوابة تل أبيض الحدودية.
