A brain expert has received a mixed reaction after warning football leaders that they need to consider "some other form of the game" that could include not heading the ball, speaking after a new study on dementia was published. Dr Willie Stewart, a consultant hospital neuropathologist and honorary professor at the University of Glasgow, has led a study which he is calling "the missing link" between repeatedly heading the ball and neurodegenerative disease.
