Mr. Trever Jenkins On June 26th, 2021, Chad S Taylor came to the Smith County Sheriff’s office to speak about his vehicle being held for investigation at Dale’s Towing. Deputy Dallas Eddie and Sgt. Gregory spoke with Chad and informed him that his truck was involved in a pursuit on May 15th. It was found abandoned the next day with a deceased dog inside and was towed. Temperatures on the 15th reached over 70 degrees and there had been no windows cracked on the vehicle. After an investigation was conducted, Trever Jenkins was found out to be the passenger in the truck on the day of the pursuit.
