The Egyptian Ministry of Health and Population reported on Wednesday 38 new coronavirus cases, nine deaths, and 212 recovered cases. A total of 284,128 cases have been reported in Egypt, alongside 16,507 deaths and 228,836 recovered cases. Egypt’s Supreme Committee for the Management of Coronavirus Crisis decided in June to lift some COVID-19 restrictions, including a nine pm business curfew, that had been in place since early May. The committee, headed by Egyptian Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly, agreed that restaurants, cafes, shops, and malls may return to summer working hours starting June.
