Wanted Sonora Man Leads Sonora Police Officers on Foot Chase Through Business ...Middle East

Sonora, CA…On Monday, July 12th, during the 5 P.M. hour, our dispatch center received a phone call that a known theft suspect was in the store. The subject was identified as 24 year-old Joseph Rizzuto of Sonora. A records check of Rizzuto confirmed that he had four Felony Warrants for his arrest. Rizzuto was also named as a suspect from a burglary on June 29, 2021 where he eluded Law Enforcement in Jamestown. Officer’s located Rizzuto inside a business in the 1000 block of Sanguinetti Rd. and a foot pursuit ensued.
