After the city passed a budget last week that prioritized funding the policing of youth instead of supporting us, I was furious to see a photo of an NYPD gaming truck that began making the rounds on social media. Apparently it’s part of an effort to ”connect with our communities, our young people, our families.” Just one more thing we didn’t ask for.
