Republican Yemen The Iran-linked Houthi rebels have frozen assets and funds of Tadhamon International Islamic Bank (TIIB), the most prominent private bank in Yemen. Houthi-run Public Prosecution ordered the Sana’a-based Central Bank of Yemen, which is also controlled by the Houthi rebels, to freeze funds and assets of TIIB, allegedly for not complying with earlier judicial orders.
