Republican Yemen The  internationally recognized government of Yemen said on Sunday the AFP, a well-known international news agency headquartered in Paris, published fake news regarding alleged significant advance of Houthi rebels northwest of Marib city, the last major stronghold of the government in north Yemen. “We confirm that there is no veracity of news published by AFP on the Iran-backed Houthis capturing Al Kassara battlefront northwest of Marib,” Information Minister Muamar al-Erani said in a tweet. “It is so unfortunate to see an international agency being fooled into spreading media disinformation and spreading baseless news aimed to lift up the spirits of militia fighters.” This
