On the third of April 2021, the world watched as 22 mummies were transported from the Egyptian Museum in Tahrir Square to their new home, the National Museum of Egyptian Civilisation, in a glittering procession rife with colour, light and music. Here are some of the most memorable moments from the Pharaohs’ Golden Parade. 1. Tahrir Square glows blue and gold under the night sky, magically lit up by a group of children bearing lamps. 2.
