Damascus, SANA- Foreign and Expatriates Ministry on Thursday held a farewell ceremony for Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran,  Jawad Turkabadi, who has ended his mission as an ambassador of his country in Syria. During the ceremony, Deputy Foreign and Expatriates Minister, Bashar al-Jaafari, awarded the Syrian Order of Merit, of the Excellent degree for the ambassador as gratitude to Iran, and in appreciation for his good efforts to enhance relations between the two brotherly countries.
