Two Unrelated Drug Arrests in Valley Springs Area ...Middle East

Valley Springs, CA…On February 4, 2021, at about 12:40 PM the Calaveras County Sheriff’s Office probation liaison deputy was patrolling the Downtown Valley Springs area when he observed Jeremey Donald Sheets (46 years of age, Valley Springs) driving at a high rate of speed and crossing the center traffic lane. The liaison deputy, with the assistance of the off-highway vehicle deputy, attempted to conduct a traffic enforcement stop of Sheets. Sheets stopped his vehicle near a random residence and ran up the driveway. The deputies chased him and subsequently located him behind a fence.
