SpiceJet inaugurates Delhi to Pakyong, Sikkim ...Middle East

SpiceJet has launched Delhi to Pakyong, the only airport in Sikkim. The airport opened in 2018 and SpiceJet is its only airline, with two routes: Kolkata and now Delhi. Pakyong’s ‘capital connection’ with SpiceJet began on 23 January. SpiceJet began Delhi to Pakyong, in the Northeast state of Sikkim, on 23 January.  It is the state’s only airport, with Sikkim bordering both Bhutan and China. The 1,139-kilometre Delhi service operates once-daily using Dash-8-400s.  Flightradar24 shows that it’s just over two hours’ flying time to Pakyong, and typically 2h 30m to 2h 50m back.
