Snow Removal Operations Continue in Calaveras County ...Middle East

San Andreas, CA…Our Public Works snow removal staff continues to work around-the-clock to clear snow and reopen roadways throughout the high country. Unfortunately, there have been multiple locations obstructed by downed power lines this week creating hazardous conditions on the roadways. PG&E and County staff have been working diligently, but due to the large volume of snow impacting power lines and trees it is taking crews additional time to clear the roads. We appreciate the public’s patience and understanding during this challenging weather event.
