These two actually faced-off in the Champions League, in the league phase back in November.
Bayern won it 1-0 thanks to a goal from centre-back Kim Min-jae before Ousmane Dembele got sent off just before the hour mark.
PSG of course went on to win the competition so it’s interesting to see how they may fare in the Club World Cup knockout stages with all players having the potential to make a difference.
Bayern won 4-2 over Flamengo in the Round of 16 on Sunday with an early goal from Harry Kane to make it 2-0, who also bagged a brace.
They were clinical too, with four attempts on target and three of them hitting the back of the net alongside the own goal from Erick Pulgar in the opening six minutes.
They will have to be more defensively sound against the European champions though, which they know how to do having done so just seven months ago.
Of course the PSG team looks a little different now and there’s likely going to be more pressure on Bayern if they’re 1-0 up again, provided PSG don’t have another player sent off.
The stand-out players will once again and surely be: Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, Ousmane Dembele, Harry Kane, Michael Olise and Kingsley Coman.
Jamal Musiala could start instead of being a sub this time as he’s often got the ability to create and threaten in attack along with Olise.
Olise has three goals and two assists in his four games played so far and in two of those he only played 45 minutes.
