There’s a terrific domestic dust-up on Saturday when Jack Catterall and Harlem Eubank do battle in Manchester.
The British duo will be targeting a world title shot before the end of the year and it’s a must-win fight for either fighter if those ambitions are to be realised.

Jack Catterall v Harlem Eubank betting tip
Harlem Eubank to beat Jack Catterall @ 5/2Eubank can star in Manchester
Harlem Eubank has won all of his 21 professional bouts, but there is no doubt a contest against Jack Catterall rates as the toughest test of the Brighton boxer’s career.
However, the 31-year-old is a 5/2 shot for Saturday night’s contest and the Manchester match may not be as tough for Eubank as the prices suggest.
Catterall has the bigger names on his record and the Chorley fighter has victories over Josh Taylor and Regis Prograis also on his card.
However, the 32-year-old offered a pretty tepid performance when losing Arnold Barboza Jr February and, while the names on Catteral’s card are impressive, the form may not be as strong as it appears.
Taylor was poor when losing to Ekow Essuman, who can only be viewed as a domestic-level fighter, earlier this year and the Scot certainly hasn’t franked the form.
Prograis took the fight against Catterall following a bruising defeat to Devin Haney and he hasn’t been seen since last year’s loss to El Gato. It’s also difficult to say the 32-year-old dazzled in wins over Darragh Foley and Jorge Linares.
Eubank hasn’t been in with anyone beyond European level, but the Brighton boxer has impressed in wins over Timo Schwarzkopf and Tyrone McKenna and, while the 31-year-old has to prove his is up to a contest of this standard, he is an unexposed and undefeated fighter.
Catterall is also moving up to welterweight from super-lightweight on Saturday night and the Chorley man was not a power puncher in the 140lbs division.
The counter-punching and accurate style of El Gato is impressive when he is able to pick opponents off, but there are often dips in the punch output and workrate of the 32-year-old and perhaps Eubank can be the busier and more imposing fighter in Manchester. Certainly, at 5/2 there is enough in the price to take a chance on the Brighton boxer.
