While Jon Gruden made his name as a football coach, he’s transitioned into a successful media career at Barstool over the last year.
A big part of Gruden’s brand at Barstool has been producing videos where he talks while opening up care packages from different pro and college teams. Arkansas became the latest program to send Gruden a package this week, which Gruden opened over the course of a near-10 minute video on social media that was published on Wednesday.
The package includes a remarkable number of Arkansas football hats as well as sweatshirts, multiple helmets and a personalized “Gruden” Arkansas jersey, amongst tons of other merch and memorabilia.
While unboxing the package, Gruden took the opportunity to name some iconic Razorbacks from across Arkansas football history. Everyone from Trey Flowers to Jerry Jones to Barry Switzer to Steve Atwater to Frank Broyles and many more received a shoutout from Gruden.
Gruden also mentioned that he played catch with current Arkansas quarterback Taylen Green at the Manning Passing Academy last month.
“I bet Bobby Petrino, coach Pittman and the Razorbacks are ready to roll,” Gruden said.
