Police activity in Fremont shuts down road ...Middle East

(KRON) -- Police activity Tuesday afternoon in Fremont has shut down a road, according to the Fremont Police Department (FPD). An area of the 45000 block of Northport Loop West is closed for several hours as police investigate an incident.

Fremont police said the road was closed at noon.

Specifics about the incident have not been released at this time. Fremont police said there is currently no known threat to the public.
