Recently Dua Lipa attempted to honor that haunting song with her own cover during her Dublin concert. While the fans at the show cheered, folks online felt a little torn about the singer's rendition.

"Sinead is one of the best. Dua Lipa is not. Please don’t remind us of that," wrote one snarky commentor.
Of course, Dua Lipa isn't the first to cover the iconic song. Other artists like the late Chris Cornell and Miley Cyrus hve given their own performances of this tune. While there were several disgruntled fans, there were a few folks who actually loved the performance.
"Sinead did it painfully beautiful. Chris did it hauntingly beautiful. Dua Lipa’s interpretation is so soulful and breathtaking. I guess we’ll have to wait for Kelly Clarkson to add it to her collection of perfection," added another.
While most agree nothing compares to Sinead (pun totally intended), it's cool to see modern artists giving her the flowers she so deserved while she was here.
