18 Must-Watch Movies on Netflix Right Now (June 2025)
‘The Intern’ (2015)
Ben Whittaker (Robert De Niro) spent most of his life working in The Intern, but retirement simply doesn’t suit him. That’s why he applies for a senior internship at a fashion company, much to the surprise of CEO Jules Ostin (Anne Hathaway). Ben’s a little overqualified for his job, and he’s not really well-versed in the world of fashion.
Regardless, Ben and Jules form a strong friendship while Ben rediscovers his purpose in life. The real question is whether Jules will realize her purpose and what makes her happy before outside forces make her choose between her family and the company she built from the ground up.
The Intern is streaming on Netflix.
‘Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation’ (2016)
Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation may not be a rom-com, but Ilsa Faust (Rebecca Ferguson) could be the one woman in the world who can truly keep up with Tom Cruise‘s Ethan Hunt. It’s kind of hard not to feel the sparks between them in this thrilling installment of the Mission: Impossible films. This time out, Ethan has been branded a traitor and framed by The Syndicate, a network of former spies with nefarious intentions.

Ilsa has been undercover with The Syndicate for so long that she doesn’t know which way is up or how she can get out. Ethan won’t survive The Syndicate’s killers without Ilsa’s help, and she’ll never reclaim her life without him. It’s a match made in action film Heaven.
Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation will stream on Netflix on July 1.
‘Red Eye’ (2005)
Red Eye starts like a comfortable rom-com as Lisa Reisert (Rachel McAdams) meets an attractive man, Jackson Rippner (Cillian Murphy), at the airport and feels a strong connection to him. They even wind up as seatmates on the long overnight flight.
But things take a sudden turn into thriller territory when Jackson reveals that his meeting with Lisa wasn’t an accident. And if she doesn’t help him assassinate a U.S. official, then her father, Joe Reisert (Brian Cox), will be murdered. As long as Lisa’s on the plane, she’s stuck with this extremely deadly man. But aside from saving Joe, Lisa has very good reasons why she won’t stop fighting Jackson, even if it means putting herself in danger.
Red Eye will stream on Netflix on July 1.
