In videos shared on social media, the rapper is seen on stage on Saturday leading the crowd in the chant of “free, free Palestine” followed by “death, death to the IDF,” the abbreviation for the Isreal Defense Forces.
During the group’s performance at Glastonbury, Vylan was also captured on video saying, “From the river to the sea, Palestine must be, will be, inshallah, it will be free."
Police in the U.K. are also investigating Vylan to determine if the chant at Glastonbury constitutes a hate crime, officials said Monday, per the outlet.
