India never looked into the game until Rishabh Pant halted the match to call the physio to check on his knee. This marked Jasprit Bumrah's return with the ball in the 16th over of the match when South Africa needed just 30 runs off 30 balls.
After quite a few overs in the game, Hardik was handed the ball in the last over of the game by skipper Rohit Sharma. With 16 runs needed and David Miller on the strike, he looped Hardik's wide full toss off to Surya, who took a running catch at the boundary, popping the ball back from the fence.
