ROCK HILL, S.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) -- A 17-year-old boy is dead after a shooting while he was driving late Friday night, according to the Rock Hill Police Department.
Just after 10 p.m. on June 27, officers responded to reports of a shooting on the 700 block of Finley Road. When they arrived, they found a 17-year-old boy with a gunshot wound.

Investigators believe the boy was driving on Finley Road when an unknown suspect fired gunshots, which struck the victim and killed him.
Police did not say if anyone is in custody or if they have since identified a suspect.
