In Parade’s exclusive clip of the finale, the final contestants can be seen meeting the A-listers, with co-host Martha Stewart exclaiming, “Look who’s here!” as Bizarre Foods host Andrew Zimmern strolls in first.
“Holy f–k,” says finalist Emily Brubaker while award-winning chef Marcus Samuelsson and Top Chef’s Gail Simmons follow suit, before co-host José Andrés introduces the “three special diners.”
“I’m not usually starstruck, but Marcus Samuelsson has done so much for his country. He brought Ethiopian food to the forefront, and that means so much to me, being from a small island that not too many people know about,” finalist Zain Ismail says in a confessional.
"The finale has more emotion than maybe any of us expected, including our special guests," Andrés exclusively tells Parade. "Every episode we learn more and more about these chefs: not just how they cook but what moves them. Even in the last episode we learn something new, and understand them better — just as they understand themselves better. Yes, Chef! is not just a competition. It's a journey!"
The season finale of Yes, Chef! airs on Bravo on Monday, June 30.
