Cagdas Halicilar, 47, who goes by @jeffbezos1977on TikTok, left his transport company CB Transporte last year after friends joked about his uncanny resemblance to the Amazon boss.
“I didn’t know what they meant by that until I was shown the picture of Jeff Bezos – some of my friends joked that he had cloned me.”
Halicilar also deceived social media users following the glamour event, with one TikTok account posting a clip of the lookalike with the caption “Jeff Bezos Venice wedding.”
Halicilar said the only thing he does to prepare for his role is regularly shave his head and apply Nivea cream.
“Because Jeff Bezos also dresses casually, it doesn’t matter whether I’m wearing a suit or wearing jeans and a polo shirt.”
