DRIVERS received surprise warning letters from cops yesterday threatening a severe punishment.
The letters were aimed at anyone partaking in a mobile nuisance party, otherwise known as an x-train.

Officer Hunter Bagley knocked on doors throughout the north side of Kalmazoo, Michigan, on Tuesday.
The letters were a first warning for any vehicle owners deemed to have been involved in a mobile nuisance party.
If violated, Michigan Police escalate their action against culprits significantly, by towing away their vehicle.
Officer Bagley described an x-train as: “A large gathering, where no one is purchasing anything.
“They’re hanging out, they’re consuming alcohol, that sort of thing in a public area.
“Our officers on night shift will go throughout the parking lot and take note of license plates and people.
“Don’t be involved in the mobile nuisance parties in Kalamazoo.”
Police officers are asking for community compliance, given the significant residential disruption caused by these x-trains.
Last weekend, three mobile nuisance parties took place in the area, a Kalmazoo Public Safety official reported.
One of these featured over 100 vehicles at the gathering.
The other two were significantly smaller.
Officer Bagley has explained the consequences for anyone caught at one of these gatherings.
He said: After the officers on the street take note of the license plate, whether it’s on the notebook or through the body cam, it gets sent to our real time crime center.
“It’s filtered, to determine that they were actually involved in the mobile nuisance party.
“People get one warning letter, and it’s good for 6 months. If the car is caught again taking part in a mobile nuisance party during that time, the police department has the ability to tow the vehicle.
The police now have the right to two cars after a warning letter following a new ordinance was created more than a month ago.
