Randy’s Donuts is officially coming to Atlanta, Georgia in a matter of days, for the first time since opening in 1952.
The chain is opening at the entrance of the Lenox Square Mall on July 3.
It will be operated by local franchisees Alvin and Calvin Waters, brothers who have been lifelong residents of the city.
The store will open at 7am, and will reward those who get there on time.
Free donuts will be handed out to the first 100 customers at the door, and celebrations will be held all day.
Grand opening promotions will be held, and Randy’s merchandise will be given away.
The event will also feature music and family-friendly activities.
The new Randy’s will operate daily from 7am to 7pm, and will also offer online ordering and delivery.
If you can’t wait for the opening date to come, Randy’s oversized donuts are already available for purchase.
You can get them at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport right now.
DONUT LOVE
Randy’s Donuts has its loyal band of supporters on social media, too.
One person wrote on Facebook: “Randy’s Donuts Is Way Better Than Dunkin & Krispy Kreme FrFr.”
Dunkin’ has just made a very popular policy reversal that has left fans overjoyed.
The chain is no longer charging customers for non-dairy milk, which usually comes at an additional $0.50 charge.
A representative for Inspire Brands, which owns Dunkin’, said: “This enhances Dunkin’s ability to offer guests a wide range of beverage customizations, allowing them to enjoy quality Dunkin’ beverages — their way — at a great value.”
The move targets non-dairy products like soy, oat or almond milk, and will save money for lactose intolerant Americans.
Dunkin’ and Starbucks were slammed when it initially introduced this charge, and was even hit with a class action over it.
Dunkin’ was hit with a $5 million class action claiming the non-dairy charge discriminated against those who could not ingest dairy-based milk.
The suit was dismissed in March 2024, and the lifting of the non-dairy charge has been effective at Dunkin’ since March 5, 2025.
