ROCHESTER, N.Y. – Plans were unveiled for the Frederick Douglass Historically Black Colleges and Universities Football Classic. This year’s matchup will feature Central State University from Wilberforce, Ohio, and Lane College from Jackson, Tennessee.

The game is the centerpiece of the Weekend of Hope, a multi-day celebration designed to connect local high school students with higher education opportunities.

Mayor Malik Evans and Erin Tolefree, CEO of event sponsor Baldwin Richardson Foods, announced the plans.
