Georgia beats out Alabama for 4-star pass rusher ...Middle East

Georgia made a huge pickup in the class of 2026 on Monday afternoon.

The Bulldogs landed in-state 4-star edge Khamari Brooks, beating out Alabama in the process. Brooks is from Bogart, Georgia, and has long been a target for the Bulldogs in this cycle.

Georgia initially offered Brooks a scholarship back in October of 2024.

Brooks is a massive addition for Georgia in this class. He’s the No. 112 overall player and the No. 14 edge in the country for the class of 2026, per 247Sports Composite rankings. He’s also the No. 13 player from the state of Georgia.

Brooks is listed at 6-foot-4, 220 pounds. He attends North Oconee High School in Bogart, Georgia. He took trips to Alabama and USC prior to making this decision. He also took a visit to Athens at the end of May.

Georgia now has 19 commitments in the class of 2026, which is shaping up to be another elite group. UGA’s class currently ranks No. 4 nationally, per 247Sports Composite rankings.

The Early Signing Period for the class of 2026 is scheduled to begin in December.
