INDIANA Pacers star Tyrese Haliburton’s injury diagnosis has been revealed, and it’s a brutal one.
The 25-year-old will find it hard to play in the 2025-26 season after a devastating injury he sustained during Sunday’s Game 7 of the NBA Finals.

Haliburton suffered what appeared to be a ruptured Achilles.
On Monday, ESPN’s Shams Charania confirmed that Haliburton suffered a torn right Achilles tendon injury.
The report added that Haliburton was playing through a calf injury throughout the NBA Finals.
The latest update confirmed a worst-case scenario for Haliburton, who is expected to miss a major part of the 2025-26 season and possibly the whole campaign.
Haliburton had nine points at the time of the injury.
It was tied at 16 when he attempted to drive to the paint with 4:55 left in the first quarter.
Haliburton collapsed to the ground and screamed in pain after the non-contact injury to the same leg that he had suffered a calf injury in Game 5.
Trainers rushed from the bench to tend to him as he pounded the floor in agony.
Haliburton was eventually helped off the court with a towel over his head and put no weight on his leg as he exited the arena.
The Thunder would turn a one-point deficit into a third-quarter domination and a 103-91 win to secure their first NBA title.
Haliburton would be seen on crutches outside the team locker room after the game.
He embraced his teammates as they made their way back from the court.
Haliburton had been the heartbeat of the Pacers’ deep playoff run.
