ROCHESTER, N.Y. — A group of kids were honored Thursday morning for their hard work, honesty, bravery, and more during the “Do The Right Thing” ceremony.
News10NBC’s Emily Putnam emceed the ceremony, hosted by the City of Rochester at Seabreeze. The Do The Right Things Award aims to shine a light on youth who positively impact our community.
Two local high school graduates and past winners of the award, Haylee Pacheco and Madeline Scahill, were presented with the “Do The Right Thing,” scholarship at the ceremony.
Pacheco graduated from East Irondequoit and will attend the University at Buffalo in the fall. Scahill graduated from Bishop Kearney and plans to study at SUNY Plattsburgh.
