ROCHESTER, N.Y. — A man is charged with harassment after Rochester Police say a large crowd got in the way of an investigation on Monday morning.
Officers responded to Lake Avenue near White Street around 12:30 a.m. for a report of gunfire and say they spotted a motorcyclist driving recklessly. According to RPD, when officers tried to pull over the driver, a crowd got in the way. Officers had to call for backup to control the crowd.
The man, 45, who was charged was released with an appearance ticket. The motorcyclist was given traffic tickets.
