The alleged incident, involving pupils at Lambrook School in Berkshire, is said to have taken place during a school trip.

Cops are now probing the allegation of sexual assault at the elite prep school attended by the Prince and Princess of Wales’s three children.
Sources say the distressed child no longer feels safe at the posh £30,000-a-year school, where Prince George, 11, Princess Charlotte, 10, and Prince Louis, 7, have been pupils since 2022.
The royal children are not connected to the alleged assault and it is not thought that William and Kate are aware of it.
Cops stepped in after the parents of the alleged victim raised serious concerns about how the incident was handled.
It’s believed the assault only came to light after a fellow pupil spoke up, reports the Mail.
Teachers were alerted and passed the information to the child’s family.
After a meeting with headteacher Jonathan Perry, the family say their child later gave a more detailed account of what allegedly happened – prompting them to demand urgent action.
It’s understood they were left furious that, at that point, the two alleged perpetrators had not been questioned or suspended, and that no external agencies had been contacted.
Sources say the child’s father then issued a stark ultimatum, that either the school informed the police, or he would.
Cops were contacted soon after by the school and are now investigating, The Sun can confirm.
A friend of the couple told the Mail: “What has happened is outrageous, unacceptable and disgusting.
“School was the child’s happy place and the parents just want everybody to be held accountable.”
Sources also said that a police officer has spoken to the child.
The fallout has triggered a wider crisis at the prestigious co-ed prep school near Ascot, which markets itself as offering “first-class teaching and pastoral care”.
Chairman of governors Patrick Burrowes has ordered an independent investigation into how the case was managed after the family filed a formal complaint.
The school says it created a risk assessment aimed at keeping the pupils separated and implemented extra supervision.
But the child’s parents believe the measures are not enough and have refused to sign off on the plan, according to the Mail.
They are now seeking alternative schooling options and are reportedly considering legal action against Lambrook over alleged safeguarding failures, said the outlet.
They are also understood to have demanded the suspension of headteacher Mr Perry.
In a statement, Lambrook School told The Sun: “The authorities are investigating an alleged incident between pupils who attend Lambrook School.
“It would not be appropriate to comment in any detail, but we are doing everything possible to support the pupils during this process and are working carefully with the relevant authorities.
“We take the safety, security and wellbeing of all of our pupils extremely seriously and we followed robust and effective policies and procedures whilst carefully respecting due process.”
A police spokesperson told the Mail: “We are investigating an allegation of sexual assault by touching following a report of a child safeguarding matter which was received from a school in Berkshire.”
