CHARLOTTE (QUEEN CITY NEWS) -- City officials are adding the signage to the top of the Wells Fargo building on Sunday morning.
Crews started around 7:30 a.m. on Father's Day, picking up letters with a helicopter from a nearby empty construction area.
In February 2024, the Charlotte City Council unanimously approved a “Wells Fargo” sign to be placed atop the 550 South Tryon tower owned by the financial giant. The request was for two 1,880-square-foot signs on the building’s “handle.”
